A home evaluation, also called competitive market analysis, is a report that is prepared by a real estate agent which compares your property to similar properties on the market. Included in the report will be homes currently listed for sale and homes recently sold.  It is NOT an appraisal, merely an estimate of value based on features and condition of your home compared to other homes in your area.  The realtor will also analyze market conditions and will give you an estimated value that a willing buyer would pay a willing seller, both parties being familiar with the property and all of the uses to which it could be put, allowing a reasonable time for exposure in the market.  We usually just drive by your property, but if you'd like us to view inside, just let us know.
